Biography

Ainslie Barnard, M.P.A.S., PA-C, is a physician assistant in the Department of Dermatology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of various skin conditions and diseases such as acne, dandruff, dry skin, eczema, moles, psoriasis, rosacea, skin rashes, and skin cancer.

Ms. Barnard received her undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona and earned her master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. 

Prior to joining the dermatology team in 2009, Ms. Barnard worked as a physician assistant in general surgery at UT Southwestern.

She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
