Andrew Quinn, M.D.

Biography
Andrew is from the western part of New York State, where he earned his undergraduate and medical degrees. He trained in anatomic and clinical pathology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, where he also completed fellowships in pathology informatics and cytopathology. Andrew joined the faculty in August of 2015. He is the Medical Director of Pathology Informatics at Parkland Health and Director of Pathology Informatics at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Andrew is also a member of the Center of Innovation and Value at Parkland. His clinical and investigational interests include advanced imaging modalities, data-driven approaches to quality assurance and improvement, and information systems optimization.
Andrew enjoys participating in all levels of medical education, which he has done since medical school. He first realized his love for pathology as a research assistant at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York, where he constructed databases for the faculty and implemented a tissue microarray program.
Andrew is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology with subspecialty certification in clinical informatics and cytopathology.
