Anthony Sertich, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of hospitalized patients.

Dr. Sertich earned his medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2018.

Dr. Sertich is Associate Clerkship Director for Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern and Faculty Mentor for the UT Southwestern Internal Medicine Residency Medical Education track. He is a member of several professional associations, including the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the Texas Medical Association.

Additionally, he serves on the Medical Education Committee and the Work in Progress Committee at Parkland Health & Hospital System.

In 2019, he received the Medical Student Teaching Award from the Parkland Division of Hospital Medicine.

Personal Note

Outside of work, Dr. Sertich enjoys running, cycling, hiking, drumming, baking, cooking, and reading.
