Biography

Ashley Bui, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in pediatric oncology.

Dr. Bui earned her medical degree at Texas A&M University College of Medicine. She completed a residency in pediatrics at the University of Texas at Austin and Dell Children’s Medical Center and gained advanced training through a pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship at UT Southwestern and Children’s Health Dallas.

Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2021.

Dr. Bui is a member of several professional associations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Children’s Oncology Group, and the American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.

Her research interests include neurofibromatosis, neuro-oncology, and molecularly targeted therapies. She has delivered numerous presentations related to her areas of expertise and will be working to expand clinical trial opportunities for children with cancer.

In 2021, she received the Texas Neurofibromatosis Foundation NF Scholar Award.
