Biography
Brian Holmes, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of its Community Radiology Division. His clinical interests include all imaging modalities, in addition to image-guided interventional procedures.
Dr. Holmes earned his bachelor's degree in English and Biology at Rice University in Houston. He earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, and completed his residency in radiology at UT Southwestern.
Prior to joining the UT Southwestern faculty in 2017, Dr. Holmes served as a general medical officer in the Air Force, from which he was honorably discharged with the rank of Major Select. He then entered into private practice.
Dr. Holmes is a diplomate of the American Board of Radiology.
Personal note
Dr. Holmes enjoys writing music, playing golf, and crossword puzzles. He is also an instrument-rated private pilot.
