Biography
Callie Diamonstein is a board-certified genetic counselor who joined UT Southwestern Medical Center’s Cancer Genetics Program in 2019. She sees patients at risk for hereditary cancer predispositions at multiple UT Southwestern clinics.
She earned her Master of Science in genetic counseling in 2015 from the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center UTHealth Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in Houston. Before joining UT Southwestern, she worked as an inpatient pediatric and fetal care genetic counselor at a hospital in northern Virginia.
Her research interests include pediatric hereditary cancer predispositions, consumer genetic testing, and the bioethics surrounding genetic diseases and genetic testing. She is also involved in genetics education and outreach.
