Biography

Christine Kulstad, M.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She serves as Co-Director of the Emergency Medicine Clerkship. 

Dr. Kulstad earned her medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical School. She then completed a residency in emergency medicine at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois, where she later served as Assistant Residency Director. 

Certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, Dr. Kulstad joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2016.

Dr. Kulstad serves as a mentor for medical students and as a Director for the Frontiers in Medicine–Resuscitation course.

She is a member of the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine, the Council of Emergency Medicine Residency Directors, and the American College of Emergency Physicians.
