Biography

Clinton Smith, Psy.D., is a Licensed Psychologist with the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists. He received his undergraduate degree in psychology and his master’s degree in experimental psychology from McNeese State University. Later, he earned his Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at George Fox University. He completed his predoctoral internship at Momentous Institute and his postdoctoral fellowship at Children’s Health Department of Outpatient Psychiatry.

He joined the UT Southwestern faculty as part of the Department of Psychiatry in the Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities in 2018. Dr. Smith’s clinical services focus on the assessment of autism spectrum disorders in children and adolescents, with a special interest in the assessment of young children.
