James H. Whitfield, D.P.M., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in podiatry.

Dr. Whitfield earned his medical degree at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at Dallas Southwest Medical Center.

Certified by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry, Dr. Whitfield joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2004.

Dr. Whitfield’s clinical interests include foot and ankle care in people with diabetes.
