Jung Tung (June) Cheng, M.D., Ph.D., is a Faculty Associate in the Department of Neurology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in stroke care, movement disorders, and neuromuscular disorders.

Dr. Cheng earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She completed a residency in neurology at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center and the UCLA School of Medicine. She received advanced training in electromyography through a fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. She also holds a doctorate in biopsychology from Syracuse University. 

Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine, Dr. Cheng joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2019.

She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine, the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society, the Texas Medical Association, and the Texas Neurological Association.
