Lilian Omburo, D.N.P., APRN, NP-C, is a board-certified nurse practitioner in the Department of Neurology at UT Southwestern's O'Donnell Brain Institute. Dr. Omburo has worked in neurology since 2016 and has a special interest in gender health and epilepsy.

She received her undergraduate nursing degree from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. A desire to impact preventive and maintenance health care metrics led her to obtain a Master of Science degree in Family Nursing Practice from the Texas Woman's University. She also holds a Doctorate degree in Nursing Practice from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her doctoral research focused on translational medical research.

She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Academy of Neurology and the American Epilepsy Society.
