Linda J. Jackson, O.D., FAAO, is a Faculty Associate in the Department of Ophthalmology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. In addition to general eye examinations, she performs diabetic eye examinations, examinations for patients on high-risk medications, and specialty contact lens fittings (including bifocal soft, rigid, and scleral contact lenses) for patients with corneal diseases, refractive surgery history, or corneal transplant history.

She earned her doctoral degree at the Southern College of Optometry and joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2003.

Dr. Jackson is a member of the American Academy of Optometry and has presented at its annual meeting in multiple years. She has also served as President and Vice President of the Dallas County Optometric Society and is a recipient of its Outstanding Service Award.
