Biography

Lori Morales, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in Ob/Gyn emergency care, including early pregnancy complications and other urgent gynecologic issues.

Dr. Morales earned her medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical School and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.

Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2014.

Dr. Morales serves as Medical Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology Emergency Services at Parkland Memorial Hospital. She is a member of numerous committees at Parkland, including Gynecology Coordinating and Pharmacy and Therapeutics.

Her clinical interests include increasing access to care; supporting patient safety and quality improvement initiatives; improving resident education through lectures and simulations; and studying the epidemiology of sexually transmitted infections.
