Biography

Richard Winslow, M.D., is a Faculty Associate in the Department of Ophthalmology at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Winslow earned his medical degree at Columbia University, College of Physicians & Surgeons and completed a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Pennsylvania’s Scheie Eye Institute. He received advanced training in oculoplastics through a fellowship at Frankford Hospital, and in treatment of retinal disorders through a fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia.

He joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 1975.

Dr. Winslow is a past president of the Dallas Academy of Ophthalmology and a current member of several professional associations, including the American Board of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Dallas Academy of Ophthalmology.

He has delivered multiple presentations and published several academic articles.
