Biography

Sarah Khorsand, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in anesthesiology and critical care medicine, focusing on liver transplant and obstetric patients.

Dr. Khorsand earned her medical degree at the University of Washington School of Medicine. She completed a residency in anesthesiology and a fellowship in critical care at the University of Washington Medical Center. 

Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in critical care medicine, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2017. 

Dr. Khorsand is a member of the International Anesthesia Research Society and the American Society of Anesthesiologists.

She has delivered several presentations and published multiple scholarly articles related to anesthesiology and critical care medicine.
