Comprehensive Care for the Best Outcome

The UT Southwestern Family Medicine Clinic at Texas Health Dallas provides care for families and individuals of all ages, from wellness education, immunizations, and screenings to acute and chronic disease management. As a full-service practice, we don't just treat illness; we're also focused on preventive medicine and procedures to ensure that good health is maintained and disease is kept at bay. If specialty care is needed, our physicians will provide a referral while continuing to manage your overall care.

We offer easy access to care by providing a convenient location, same-day appointments, and a wide range of primary care services, including:

  • Acute illness care, such as for sore throat, cough, and sinus infection
  • Adolescent health
  • Adult health
  • Annual physicals, such as sports physicals, well-child exams, and well-woman exams

Training Facility

The UT Southwestern Family Medicine Clinic at Texas Health Dallas is also a training facility for family medicine residents. This marks the first academic program to launch in an alliance with Texas Health Resources. Working at the clinic gives our residents valuable experience in a community-based practice.

Physicians in training are under the direct supervision of a senior physician. Our mission is to provide an environment that encourages the development of the cognitive, clinical, and procedural skills essential to cultivating a successful and productive career as a family medicine physician.

Our Location and Hours

The Family Medicine clinic is located in Professional Office Building 5, on the south side of Texas Health Dallas’ main campus, at the corner of Twin Hills Lane and Fogelson Lane. Free parking is available in lot 16 directly in front of Texas Health Resources University (view campus map).

We are open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Appointment Information

On the day of the appointment, please arrive 30 minutes early to allow time for parking and registration. We will do our best to see you at your scheduled appointment time.

Please bring the following items to your appointment:

  • Current insurance card
  • Driver’s license or other approved government picture ID
  • Method of payment – credit or debit card only
  • Current medications
  • Relevant past medical records, if available
  • Completed paperwork, if you received forms before the visit

To facilitate ongoing communication, we recommend patients sign up with MyChart, which allows patients to communicate directly with doctors, request prescription refills, update contact information, view test results, complete visit questionnaires and request clinic appointments. Canceling an Appointment

If you need to cancel an appointment, please call the clinic or cancel via MyChart 24 to 48 hours in advance so that we can accommodate other patients who might be waiting for an appointment.
