Biography
Dr. Basirat is an Assistant Professor of Radiology in UT Southwestern Medical Center's Neuroradiology Division. She completed medical school at UT Southwestern. After doing her internship at John Peter Smith Hospital, she returned to UT Southwestern to complete her diagnostic radiology residency, followed by a fellowship in neuroradiology. Her clinical interests include neuroradiology imaging and spine procedures.
Dr. Basirat joined UT Southwestern's faculty in July 2026.
