Biography
Alex Preston, MD, MPH recently graduated as the first women’s mental health fellow here at UTSW. She earned a Master’s in Public Health at Columbia University specializing in Sexual and Reproductive Health and found a desired focus in Reproductive Psychiatry beginning as a medical student at UT Dell in Austin.
She is passionate about helping women experience improved mental health and live fuller lives, whether that be addressing perimenstrual exacerbation of psychiatric disorders, healing from a perinatal mood disorder, or thoughtfully designing interventions to maintain psychiatric wellness during the menopause transition or during a breast or gynecologic cancer.
