Biography

Alicia N. Kiszka, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Her clinical specialties include emergency care of Ob/Gyn conditions, as well as medical and surgical management of abnormal uterine bleeding and other benign gynecological conditions.

Dr. Kiszka earned her medical degree and completed an Ob/Gyn residency at UT Southwestern Medical School. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Texas A&M University.

She joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2014.

In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Kiszka is active in medical education. She leads both the Transition to Residency Boot Camp and the Women’s Ambulatory Health Care courses and also serves as the post-clerkship director for fourth-year medical students.

Dr. Kiszka is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a member of the American Medical Association and the Texas Medical Association.

Her professional honors at UT Southwestern include nomination for the Ob/Gyn department’s 2018 Match Day Faculty; Parkland Hospital’s 2017 Outstanding Services in Quality, Safety, and Patient Experience recognition; and the 2010 Annelle M. Ahmed, M.D, Women’s Health Care Award.
