Biography

Alireza Eajazi, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Radiology, Fellowship Program Director for Musculoskeletal Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, and a member of its Musculoskeletal Radiology Division.

Dr. Eajazi specializes in musculoskeletal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), sports imaging, bone and soft tissue tumors, peripheral nerve disorders, and image-guided musculoskeletal interventions. He is actively involved in clinical care, research, and education. His academic interests include advanced musculoskeletal MRI, sports-related injuries, musculoskeletal oncology, peripheral nerve imaging, and image-guided interventions. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, scientific exhibits, and presentations, and has received multiple national awards recognizing his educational and scholarly contributions.

A dedicated educator and mentor, Dr. Eajazi serves as Fellowship Program Director for the Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship at UT Southwestern. He is actively involved in resident, fellow, and medical student education and is committed to advancing musculoskeletal radiology training through mentorship, curriculum development, and academic leadership.

Dr. Eajazi earned his medical degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Iran. Following orthopedic surgery research and clinical experience, he completed musculoskeletal imaging research fellowships at Boston University School of Medicine and Massachusetts General Hospital (Harvard Medical School). He then completed a diagnostic radiology residency at UT Health San Antonio. He completed fellowship training in musculoskeletal radiology at the University of California San Diego (UCSD), where he received advanced training under internationally recognized leaders and pioneers in musculoskeletal radiology.

Dr. Eajazi is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care while advancing the field of musculoskeletal radiology through clinical excellence, research, and education.
