Biography
Amy Dowdey, LCSW, is a clinical social worker specializing in mental health. Amy has over 20 years of experience working in mental health and social services. Amy specializes in working with trauma, anxiety, and depression, and has advanced training in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing). Amy has expertise in working with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. She also is experienced in working with individuals of various ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology/Biology at Texas Woman’s University and her Master of Science Social Work at the University of Texas at Arlington.
