Andrea Johnson, M.D.

Biography

Andrea Johnson, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Johnson earned her medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical School, where she also completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology.

Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2012. 

Dr. Johnson sees patients and oversees residents and medical students at Parkland Hospital. 

She also serves as a mentor for UT Southwestern’s Academic Colleges and Office of Global Health at UT Southwestern. Her specific interests in medical education include professional identity formation, student wellness, and competency-based development.
