Biography

Bryan Romito, M.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in anesthesiology and critical care medicine. 

Dr. Romito earned his medical degree at The George Washington University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in anesthesiology at UT Southwestern and then received advanced training in critical care medicine through a fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center.

Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2014.

Dr. Romito is the Critical Care Medicine Fellowship Program Director and conducts research in adaptive learning techniques and sleep-promoting interventions. He is an active member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and serves as an ad hoc reviewer for several academic journals.
