Biography

Caitlin M. Kibbey, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. 

Dr. Kibbey earned her medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed a residency in emergency medicine at the Mercy Health–St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio, where she also served as a flight physician in the Mercy Health Life Flight helicopter system.

Certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, Dr. Kibbey joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2014. 

Dr. Kibbey’s clinical and research interests include medical education, aeromedical transport, and prehospital medicine. 

She is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the Texas College of Emergency Physicians.
