Biography

Carolina Carvajal MPAS, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant (PA) in the Pulmonary and Critical Care division of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in inpatient pulmonary hypertension and cystic fibrosis. 

Ms. Carvajal received a Bachelor of Science in economics from UT Arlington. She received an associate's degree in respiratory care from El Centro College and worked in a medical intensive care unit for three years, as well as a volunteer respiratory therapist at various camps and free clinics. She then earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at UT Southwestern School of Health Professions in 2015.

She is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Pulmonary Hypertension Association.
