Biography

Caroline Abe, M.D., M.P.H., is an Assistant Instructor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Abe earned her medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical School and a concurrent master’s degree in public health at UT Houston. She’s completing a residency in internal medicine at UT Southwestern; she currently serves as Chief Resident.

She joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023.

Dr. Abe’s interests include medical education, endocrinology, and public health. She has delivered numerous presentations and published several academic articles related to her areas of expertise.

Personal Note

When she is not at work, Dr. Abe enjoys cooking and traveling.
