Biography

Charles Medina, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, ENP-C, is a dual board-certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the Department of Emergency Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Medina received his undergraduate degree from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2003, his Master of Science in Nursing with Family Nurse Practitioner specialization from the University of San Diego in 2007, and his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of San Diego in 2010. He has continuously worked in Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care since 2007. He has years of additional experience in General Surgery, Primary Care, Student Health, and served as Adjunct Faculty for various APRN Programs.
