Biography
Claire Usala, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Her clinical interests include Down syndrome, improving breastfeeding rates, and clinical nutrition.
Dr. Usala earned her medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical School and completed a residency in pediatrics at NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital. She joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2021.
She is a recipient of UT Southwestern’s Kurt Ian Wey, M.D., Senior Pediatric Award.
