Biography
Courtney Dryden, M.P.A.S., PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA) in Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center's Bone Marrow Transplant-Hematological Malignancies Clinic at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
She graduated summa cum laude at Texas A&M University in 2010, earning her Bachelor of Science in Health, where she also earned the Distinguished Honor Graduate Award from the College of Education & Human Development. In 2012, she received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from UT Southwestern Medical Center.
She developed a passion for oncology with a special interest in hematologic malignancies and bone marrow transplant. She enjoys serving as a preceptor for advanced practice provider students during their elective rotations in the Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic, and assists in teaching the Patient Evaluation Course and lectures in the UT Southwestern Physician Assistant Program.
Courtney is also passionate about quality improvement in patient outcomes and is a member of several workgroups within the Cancer Center.
She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Association of Physician Assistants in Oncology.
