Biography

Dana Scott, M.P.A.S., PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA) in the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Her clinical focus is on the inpatient management of patients with hematological malignancies, as well as those undergoing bone marrow transplant and cellular therapies. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Nutritional Sciences at Texas Christian University and then earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at The University of Florida. She has worked previously with Moncrief Cancer Institute in Fort Worth, Texas, where she was involved with the Breast Cancer Survivorship Program and research on colon cancer screening in medically underserved populations. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology.
