Biography
Ellen Lee, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in interventional pain management and regional anesthesia.
Dr. Lee earned her medical degree at the Stony Brook University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in anesthesiology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai West and Mount Sinai Morningside in New York City, where she also received advanced training through a pain management fellowship.
Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in anesthesiology and pain medicine, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2012.
Dr. Lee is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, the Dallas County Anesthesia Society, and the Dallas County Medical Society.
In 2021, she received the Chairman’s Recognition Award from the Department of Anesthesia and Pain Management at UT Southwestern.
