Biography

Gunjan Singh, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She serves in the Division of Developmental/Behavioral Pediatrics and practices as a general pediatrician in Children’s Health’s Rees-Jones Center for Foster Care Excellence. She is passionate about improving care for children in foster care who have complex chronic care needs.

Dr. Singh earned her medical degree at UT Southwestern, where she also completed her residency in pediatrics in association with Children’s Health. In addition, she holds an undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

She joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2022.

Dr. Singh’s research experience includes analysis of health care utilization of children with complex chronic disease in foster care. She also has a special interest in undergraduate and graduate medical education.
