Biography
Hina Mehta, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern and a member of its Division of Hospital Medicine.
Dr. Mehta holds a bachelor's degree in biochemistry from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. She earned master's credits and a medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. She then completed internal medicine residency training at St. Louis University.
Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2017.
Dr. Mehta serves as Co-Director of the Residency Essentials Course and an Academic Colleges mentor.
Personal Note
Outside of medicine, Dr. Mehta enjoys spending time with her family, running, and the outdoors.
