Biography

Jaime Shahan, M.P.A.S., PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant (PA) and Lead Advanced Practice Provider for the Community Oncology group that comprises the Redbird, Richardson/Plano, and Moncrief locations. She specializes in hematology and oncology, with a background in bone marrow transplant and hematologic malignancies.

Ms. Shahan completed her undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University before attending LSU Health Sciences Center School of Allied Health for Physician Assistant Studies, graduating in 2009. She has a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from UT Rio Grande Valley.

She has a special interest in survivorship, research, and underserved patient populations. Ms. Shahan has published in Leukemia & Lymphoma, Transfusion Medicine, JADPRO, and the International Journal of Hematology. She enjoys teaching and mentoring, but first and foremost has a passion for the patients she serves.
