Biography

Jaime Shahan, MPAS, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA) in the Department of Internal Medicine-Hematology/Oncology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in bone marrow transplant and hematologic malignancies. Ms. Shahan completed her undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University before attending LSU Health Sciences Center School of Allied Health for Physician Assistant Studies, graduating in 2009. She has worked in hematology since 2010 with a special interest in acute leukemias, allogeneic stem cell transplant, and graft vs. host disease. Ms. Shahan has published in Leukemia & Lymphoma, Transfusion Medicine, and the International Journal of Hematology. She enjoys teaching and mentoring students, but first and foremost has a passion for the patients she serves.
