Biography

Jenny K. Rodriguez Francis, M.D., M.P.H., is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Public Health at UT Southwestern Medical Center and an adolescent medicine specialist at Children’s Health in Dallas.

She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed a pediatric residency at Montefiore/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY. This was followed by an adolescent medicine fellowship and a master’s in public health at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, New York.

Before relocating to Texas in 2017, she served as faculty at Columbia University. She directs the Adolescent Medicine Fellowship Program at UT Southwestern, is a member of the Institutional Review Board, and leads funded research to improve triadic communication between clinicians, parents, and adolescents.
