Biography

Jill Boudreaux, M.S.N., APRN, FNP-BC, AOCNP, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner in the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Her clinical focus is in lung, head, and neck medical oncology. She initially studied social sciences as an undergraduate and earned a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in anthropology at the University of North Texas. Out of a desire to further apply her interest in social sciences, she later went on to earn both her bachelor's and Master of Science in Nursing degrees at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She has since been dedicated to caring for oncology patients throughout her nursing career in both inpatient and outpatient settings, which she feels deepens her understanding of the patient experience, and has a special interest in empowering patients through education. She is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society and the Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology.
