John Herring, M.D.

Biography
Dr. Herring has served as chief of staff at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children since 1978. Dr. Herring is a professor in the department of orthopaedic surgery at UT Southwestern and is an active staff member at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas. Dr. Herring has served as chairman of the Pediatric Committee of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and president of the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America. He is editor of the 3rd and 4th edition of Tachdjian’s Pediatric Orthopaedics textbook.
