Biography

John Norman, PA-C, is a physician assistant in the Department of Neurological Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Mr. Norman knew he wanted to become a physician assistant after experiencing a sports injury playing baseball in high school and being cared for by an orthopedic PA. Determined to pay his experience forward, he earned his allied health degree with honors from Texas A&M University in College Station. He then attended the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, where he obtained his master’s degree in physician assistant studies. He has practiced in a variety of settings, including orthopedic spine surgery, orthopedic surgery, and neurological surgery. He prides himself on treating patients with the same care he received as a patient.
