Biography
Joshua Kern, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Kern earned his medical degree at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine and completed his residency in emergency medicine at UT Southwestern.
Certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2015.
Dr. Kern serves on the Emergency Medicine department mentoring committee, and he is a member of the Texas Medical Society and the Dallas County Medical Society. He has delivered numerous invited lectures.
In 2011, Dr. Kern earned the UT Southwestern Emergency Medicine Teaching Award.
