Biography

Karen Lowe, MPAS, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant (PA) in the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Clinic at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Originally from Alabama, she earned her undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University Commerce, and then earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Bethel University in 2013. 

She has worked in cystic fibrosis since 2014 with a special interest in adult care. She manages home IV infusions, clinic appointments, and hospital rounding for the cystic fibrosis program. In 2017, she was invited to present a poster at the North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference, entitled “Process Improvement for Monitoring of Home IV Antibiotic Therapy.”
