Biography

Kayvon Ghoreshi, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in informatics and medical education.

Originally from Connecticut, Dr. Ghoreshi holds a bachelor's degree in molecular and cell biology from the University of Connecticut. He earned his medical degree at the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed a residency in internal medicine at UT Southwestern.

He joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023.

Dr. Ghoreshi’s research experience includes using patient portal activity to predict COVID-19 vaccination, studying continuous blood pressure monitoring in patients with pulmonary hypertension, and assessing the efficacy of novel tools in medical education. He has published several academic articles related to his areas of expertise.

Personal Note

When he’s not at work, Dr. Ghoreshi enjoys cooking, playing board games with friends, and watching college basketball.
