Biography

KE'Marvin Pitts, MSSW, LCSW, is a Clinical Therapist in the Department of Psychiatry at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Richardson/Plano. He specializes in mental health across the lifespan, including adolescents, young adults, and a wide range of adult populations, with expertise in working with athletes, performance and sport psychology, stress management, and general therapeutic support.

Mr. Pitts earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Troy University, where he played Division I football, and his Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Before joining UT Southwestern, he supported student-athletes at the University of Southern California through injury recovery groups, performance and mental skills training, individual therapy for general and athletic-specific concerns, crisis support, team consultation, educational workshops, and referrals for higher-level care.
