Biography

Lan Vu, M.B.A., M.P.A.S., PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant and the Assistant Director of Advanced Practice Providers for the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She graduated from the physician assistant program at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree and later earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska.

Ms. Vu earned an Executive MBA in healthcare leadership and management from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas in 2023 and is also certified in healthcare informatics. She began her career as a physician assistant at MD Anderson Cancer Center in 1996 and joined UT Southwestern in 2013, focusing on gastrointestinal malignancies. She has a special interest in cancer survivorship.
