Biography

Lan Vu, M.P.A.S., PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA) and Advanced Practice Provider Program Manager in the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

She graduated from the PA Program at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree, and later earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska. She worked for 16 years as a PA at MD Anderson Cancer Center, specializing in gastrointestinal (GI) malignancies. She joined UT Southwestern in 2013, with a clinical focus in GI surgical oncology.

She has a special interest in the treatment of pancreatic cancers and also serves in the role of Program Manager for the Multidisciplinary Pancreas Cancer Clinic and the Pancreatic Cancer Prevention Clinic.
