Biography
Lauren K. Lazar, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in pediatric gastroenterology, with additional interests in gastrointestinal manifestations of cystic fibrosis, liver disease, and quality improvement work.
Dr. Lazar earned her medical degree at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine. She completed a residency in pediatrics at UT Southwestern, where she also received advanced training through a fellowship in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition.
Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and board eligible in pediatric gastroenterology, Dr. Lazar joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2020.
She sees patients at Children’s Medical Center Dallas, Children’s Medical Center Plano, and the Children’s Health Specialty Center at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital, Park Cities.
