Biography

Lauren Runyon, M.S.N., APRN, FNP-C, is a Nurse Practitioner in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Allergy and Immunology, at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She provides care for patients in the Allergy and Immunology Clinic and the Allergy and Immunology Cancer Clinic. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington in 2010 and worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas from 2010 to 2017. She then completed her Master of Science in Nursing at The University of Texas at Arlington in 2017.

Since becoming a nurse practitioner, Mrs. Runyon specializes in the care of patients with allergies, asthma, immunologic disorders, and cancer-related immunologic conditions. She is an Allied Health member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI) and a member of the Association of PAs in Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (APAAI). She also serves as Clinical Assistant Faculty at The University of Texas at Arlington and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Nursing at Texas Woman’s University.
