Biography

Leticia Khosama, M.S.N., APRN, ANP-C, AOCNP, is a board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) in the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

She graduated magna cum laude from Texas Woman's University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2005. She worked at Parkland Health and Hospital System's Outpatient Oncology clinic for four years before pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing as an adult nurse practitioner from Texas Woman's University, graduating in 2012.

She then joined the Gastrointestinal (GI) Medical Oncology Team at UT Southwestern. She enjoys serving as a preceptor for NP students who have a special interest in oncology, and has volunteered at the GDAS Cancer Clinic in Collin County since 2013, where she serves underprivileged patients who have received a cancer diagnosis.

She is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society's AOCNP Test Development Committee, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the Oncology Nursing Society.
