Biography

Lynne Orozco, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Orozco earned her medical degree at the Jacobs School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences at University of Buffalo. She completed a residency in family medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2020.

Dr. Orozco provides health care to underserved populations, both in the United States and globally. In Dallas, she works with people living within 200% of the federal poverty level guidelines, especially immigrant populations.

Dr. Orozco is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, the Christian Medical & Dental Associations, the National Health Services Corps, and the Society of Hospital Medicine.
