Biography

Maria Crain, APRN, CPNP-PC is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in the Department of Pediatrics-Food Allergy at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She obtained her Master's degree in Advanced Practice Pediatric Nursing from New York University and her undergraduate nursing degree at the University of Pittsburgh. She has worked in the food allergy field since 2005 starting at the Jaffe Food Allergy Institute at Mount Sinai in NYC and then the past 11 years at Children's Health. She has a particular interest in the psychosocial aspects of children and families affected by food allergy.
